What is TCM
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Why China?
Although there are many good acupuncturists in the US the fact remains when it comes to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) you must go to the source to get the best. They have been using this medicine for over 4000 years quite effectively
What Can They Do?
Regarding disease processes within the body TCM aggressively treats the underlying health condition rather than the outward signs and symptoms that western medicine focuses on. Traditional Chinese Medications and treatments are slower in their response but have no side effects and because they act on the actual disease process they are considered curative and not palliative.
Who is a Viable Candidate?
If you are seeking recovery from a stroke or have been diagnosed with a disease process such as diabetes or arthritis or a symptom such as hyperlipemia or hypertension then TCM can help.
How Long is the Therapy?
Depending on the condition for which you are being treated anywhere from 1 to 3 months.
Is Traditional Chinese Medicine Superior to Western Medicine?
TCM focuses on the underlying health disorder and is not solely focused on the outward signs and symptoms. As a result Traditional Chinese Medications and treatments are slower in the response but have no side effects and because they focus and act on the actual disease process and not symptoms they are considered curative and not palliative.
Do I need a visa to go to China?
Yes
Where do I obtain a visa?
We suggest that you use perryvisa.com and request a 90 day tourist visa. You will need to work with us first to prepare the documents you need to obtain a visa.
Can I get the same therapy and treatment in the US?
No. Acupuncture is available in the US but the TCM Programs that we offer are vastly different and the TCM medications that are available here in China are only partially available in the US and often times in formulations they are required to leave out vital ingredients to get them into the country.
